Just announced! Join us for a sake tasting class at Ai Sushi! Students will taste several samples of sake while learning about the drinking etiquette of sake, the taste profiles of sake, as well as the history of the drink. Edamame will be provided for the class as well.

Ai Japanese Restaurant & Lounge is where East meets West, offering authentic Japanese cuisine artfully prepared with an innovative twist. Chef Toyoji Hemmi has prepared a menu that features an extensive array of freshly flown in fish, contemporary maki, and modernistic Japanese-influenced entrees that will cater to the connoisseur and the novice alike. Guests can enjoy their meals in a dimly lit dining room with lavish décor while listening to relaxing jazzy beats. Ai features Chicago’s only sake bar with a selection of over thirty different premium sake from several different prefectures in Japan. In the red and black Ai Lounge, Ai offers a full bar with an extensive wine list as well as several signature martinis to choose from.
