Learn how to make your own cocktails with the Classic Cocktails class! Impress your friends as you whip together a Sidecar, Sazerac, Pegu Club, or a French 75! This class will be hands-on, and students will be able to drink their own creations! Our instructor is Sonja Kassenbaum (http://thinkingofdrinking.blogspot.com/). She’s a self-proclaimed “cocktail nerd” who, in her personal time, has taught classes on basic mixology, great drinks, and classic cocktails. She’s an avid blogger and writer on the subject. Sonja and her husband also own North Shore Distillery, the first boutique distillery in the Chicago area (and in Illinois), that produces award winning, small-batch, handmade products designed for the true spirit connoisseur, using the finest ingredients and the most advanced distillers' techniques.
